I have Xanthelasma, and it sucks.  So I wanted to build a space for people like me who hate this blemish on their face.  A place where you can share your experience, complain about it effects you, and get some tips to getting rid of these little (and big) fuckers.

For me, it started showing up on my face under my eyes about ten years ago.  I was 33 at the time.  I've had my cholesterol checked and my levels are within the manageable range, under 190.  I went to one of the best lipid specialists in Los Angeles to check for any signs of heart disease.  I've been scanned, pricked, and consulted.  I'm clean, so it must be hereditary then.  Sorry, nothing medically I can do and I don't need (or would take) a statin.  Like I said, Xanthelasma sucks.

In the past, I've tried had it cut out in Beverly Hills only to have it come back.  That was expensive and will never do that again.  I've tried the Garlic Burn, Fenugreek Tea, Castor Oil, Apple Cider Vinegar, Banana Peels, all that natural shit.  Nope, nada, waste of time.  Then I came across a blog where the woman burned it off with a Wartner Pen she bought over the counter.  I decided,  sure let's dab some acid under my eyes and see what happens. This blog is my journey, and yours.  But in the end, Xanthelasma still sucks.
